MVM Convenient Care Program

We are a primary care practice dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to our Island community. We understand that you may have a primary care provider elsewhere but need medical attention while you are on Island. Because there are no urgent care clinics on Martha’s Vineyard, we created the Convenient Care Program - as an addition to our primary care practice - so that you can get the help you need when you need it.

In order to make a Convenient Care appointment you will be charged a Convenient Care Fee.  

Convenient Care Fee Schedule

  • Weekly *: $150

  • Monthly *: $250

  • Seasonal *: $500 (June 1 - September 30)

  • Annual: $600 (Full-time Island residents only)

    * Full-time Island residents (i.e. your driver’s license has an Island address) receive a 30% discount on all Convenient Care Fees other than annual fees.

Rationale

We implemented Convenient Care Fees to ensure the sustainability of our convenient care offerings. These fees support the following:

  • Quality of Care: The revenue generated from these fees allows us to maintain high standards of care, invest in modern medical equipment, and attract skilled healthcare professionals.

  • Operational Sustainability: These fees help cover operational costs, ensuring that our facility remains open and functional.

Insurance

We accept most insurance plans from the following providers:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield

  • Harvard Pilgrim/Tufts (Point 32)

  • MGB Health Plan

  • Medicare

  • MA Medicaid/ Mass Health/ Wellsense

  • Tricare

  • Unicare/GIC

Self-Pay Option: If you are uninsured or prefer to pay directly:

  • $350 per visit for non-residents*; $250 per visit for full-time Island residents*
    *    Includes Weekly Convenient Care Program Fee. Excludes tests, labs, and vaccines.
